EMpower wanted us to capture the story of the Aangan Trust: one of their grantee partners in Mumbai. They wanted a film that would get to the heart of Aangan’s work, taking in the sights, sounds and, most importantly, the feelings of the Trust.

As soon as we met Akash, it was clear that the most powerful way of telling their story was to simply lett him tell his. The story of Akash’s life so far, accompanied by shots of the community he is helping to shape, provided all the evidence needed to understand the Aangan Trust and the difference they are making.
